Do you take after the hardworking ant, diligently plugging away? Yes? Then you’re more likely to live a longer, happier life than your joyriding free-spirit buddies, says 20 years of research conducted by psychologists from the University of California, Riverside.

Possessing “feminine” traits, such as sharing your feelings and reaching out to others, is also linked to living longer–for both  men and women.
