When is the best time to work out?
June 6, 2011
According to a new study from Appalachian State University, the best time to work out is in the morning — if your goal is to have a better night’s sleep. Subjects who exercised at 7AM experienced more time in light and deep sleep compared to those who worked up a sweat at 1PM and 7PM.

I work out in the morning as it best suits my routine.

Nice — you probably have better sleep, then! I tend to work out in the evenings or during the day if I can fit it in — better to exercise whenever you can, I think, than focus on the benefit of better sleep after all.

I have a hard time getting up in the morning for breakfast…never mind to run/work out. I’ve tried it a couple of times and it felt good to have it finished. But, usually I work out before dinner.
