Deadly TV

June 15, 2011

A typical evening include an episode of The Voice and The Good  Wife? Two hours of telly daily is enough to kill you early, says research from the Harvard School of Public Health. More precisely, for every 120 minutes of television watching per day ups your chance of dying before age 65 by 13 percent.

Seems that this is likely due to planting ourselves in front of the tube instead of exercising, and that we tend to eat junk food and drink while doing so.

(On another note — anyone else watching The Voice solely for Adam Levine?)
