Giveaway: Win a Consonant Body Healthy Skin Detox for Face Kit!

January 14, 2011

I’ve never done a detox diet, and doubt I could last  more than one day on one.

But the Consonant Body Health Skin Detox for Face Kit (available from BeautyMark.ca) is one detox regime I could happily stick to (there’s a reason it made my list of holiday beauty swellness!). Their organic products are staples in my routine.

And because I bet your skin could use some TLC right about now in the thick of winter, and because I’m just nice like that, you can win this Face Kit from Health & Swellness!

The Face Kit (valued at $99) contains the Ultra Moisturizing Organic Face Cream, Organic Foaming Face Wash, Ultra Firming Organic Eye Cream, and Ultra Moisturizing Organic Lip Conditioner (which I keep in my handbag at all times).

There are three ways you can enter (do all three to increase your chances of winning!):

(1) Email your name, address and phone number to healthandswellness@gmail.com (please put “Consonant Body” in the subject line).

(2) Leave a comment on this post about any detoxes you’ve tried, and/or why you’d love to win this Healthy Skin Detox for Face Kit.

(3) Tweet a link to this giveaway (you must include the @healthswellness handle, though, so that I am sure to see it!).

This giveaway closes 12PM January 24, 2011. Must be Canadian resident. The winner of this Consonant Body Healthy Skin Detox for Face Kit (valued at $99) will be randomly chosen and notified by email.

Good luck!

The only thing that’s ever worked really well for my skin is not eating sugar, but seriously, am I supposed to cut out sugar forever? Not going to happen! Would love to try this — esp. the eye firming cream — and have a cookie too. :)

    (Also, hi!)

Hi! I think cutting out sugar forever would make me, let’s say, not so swell to be around! Good luck in the giveaway!!

I have never tried a detox but would love to try this Healthy Skin Detox for the face as I have horrible skin that could really use some TLC!

hmm, I’m wondering if that Maryam is my sister?? I’ve done juicing, fruit and raw foods. Really not worth it at all. I was left bloated and a mouth full of canker sores from the lemons I had in my juices. This type of detox seems much more enjoyable. Plus I think you posted a while back that your 31st year is your most “beautiful” and since I’m half way through, I might as well amp it up a bit, 32 isn’t getting the same positive feedback :)

Oh no, my mouth is sore just reading about your experience!! LOL, too funny!

I’ve only ever tried detoxing from gluten. It was hard, really, really hard. All I could come up with for breakfast that was gluten free was eggs and veggies. There are only so many eggs you can eat before you start dreaming of cereal and bread.

Honestly, I’ve never tried a face detox before (only diet detoxes, always a New Years resolution!) although I’m very vigilant about skin care otherwise. I use Clinique’s 3-Step system everyday, with an emphasis on moisturizer, and exfoliate regularly. I also apply SPF 60 sunscreen (everyone I know scoffs!) when I’m outdoors. Even though I’m 22, I’d like to keep the wrinkles at bay for as long as possible. In this way, Consonant’s Healthy Skin Detox is an amazing addition to my routine, and would definitely save my face from the effects of our harsh Canadian winters. Skin, especially the face, is something that must be pampered proactively. This detox could help me put my best face forward for years to come! *Sorry about my long-windedness!*

Never did a diet detox, im too in love with food, especially the ones that are bad for you. But i’d love to win the Consonant Healthy Skin Detox for Face Kit cause it seems like the only detox I would be able to do successfully.

^ yikes, SPF 60? that’s a bit drastic, in Canada esp. – I’ve read numerous articles on how that can just cause Vit D shortages in your body

either way, I’ve never tried any sorts of detoxes, and would like to try it out – I’m nearing 30 and it’s probably a good time to do that now :)

I never tried a detox specifically for the face. So I am very intrigued and I think my skin definitely needs it this winter!!

I would love to try this, I’m always on the hunt for good, organics for the face and body!!

I have been dying to try Consonant Body products since I found out about them. They seem to have a philosophy that fits with mine, and while I can say that I have done much to go organic and to reduce the chemicals used in our house and in our food, I can’t say the same for my beauty products.

I would love a chance to try Consonant Body products!

    Great giveaway! =)

I’ve never tried any detox before but would love to give this one a try. I’ve been using Consonant Body’s organic hand cream this winter and it’s been really soothing on my dry skin! If the hand cream is any indication of what the products in the detox kit will do to my face, I would love to try it!

I would love to try this I am in my 50’s and need something that will make my skin look healthier and younger.

I would love to win the detox as my poor skin is suffering from a combination of the harsh Manitoba weather and a bad habit of falling asleep without removing my make up. Eep! It really needs some TLC!

I’ve never done a skin detox but I did complete a detox by David Kirsch’s Slimdown (http://davidkirschwellness.com/wellnesscompany/Slimdown/ABCs.htm). It truly helped me lose some pounds and introduced me to healthier eating.

I would love to try Consonant’s Skin Detox because I am already in love with their other products.

I tried a detox years ago. Nothing but clear fluids for a day. The headache at the end of the day was horrendous.
I have always had very oily skin. I’m hoping Consonant’s Skin Detox can help this this.
