No new mani or pedi for me this week while I’m in Arizona, so I thought I’d take this week to answer a reader’s comment about the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips. Misty is concerned that her nail beds were too narrow to use these strips.

Here’s a pic of what comes in the package–as you can see per hand, there are eight strips of varying widths. And I checked in with the pros at Sally Hansen and if the strip is too wide, you simply file off the extra bit that’s overhanging (in the same way that you file off the extra length at the tip). If you prefer, you can use scissors to trim the strip before applying them, but filing off the excess should work just fine.
