I’ve been to some pretty phenomenal spas around the world, but this one here at the Encore in Las Vegas is perhaps the prettiest one I’ve visited so far.
Read more about it and the trip that turned me into a fan of Las Vegas over at ElleCanada.com.

In July, I felt like I got to go on the spring breaks I never took in university. How’s that? I got to check out the daytime pool party scene in Vegas, but in the best way–from the comfort of the luxe cabanas (I was on a press trip). One VIP cabana (the one we had at Hard Rock for the Rehab LV party, decked out with our own private pool) normally rings in at $10,000. At Tao Beach Club, where the bikini-clad staff had the hottest bods of any of the pool parties we checked out (major workout motivation!), the Veuve was flowing and the party was jumpin’, jumpin’.
And let me tell you, non-spring-breaker me loved every second.
I know–you might think tacky and just not your thing, but I dare you to go and not have fun. (But yes, it helps if you’re doing it on one very generous account
For the scoop on three of the parties and cabanas, check out my post over at AmongMen.

Spa. Pool. Dinner. Show. Repeat.
That’s my schedule for the next five days in Las Vegas.
When I was last there, in December, it was to run the Rock n Roll Half-marathon, so I was limited when it came to eating and drinking (couldn’t risk having tummy issues on race day!) — this time, with no half-marathon to run while there? Fun times in store!
But the best part? I’m going to be doing yoga with the dolphins again!
