Race report: Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Half-marathon

So what happens when one unexpectedly gets the opportunity to run the Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Half-marathon with 3.5 weeks notice? A 1:59 (I forget the seconds) finish. (To put it into perspective, I would normally train three times a week for four months.)

That’s all I’d been aiming for, sub-2 hours. No lofty hopes for a PB. I trained very little (a total of a mere eight training runs totalling less than 70k in the month of November, right after finishing my second marathon of the year, the Scotiabank Toronto Marathon). I mostly felt fine during the race, but did get crampy around kilometre 17.

But I’m good with my time — I finished 206th in my division of 2,592, and 2,863rd out of more than 22,000 runners. But mostly just happy to have my tenth half-marathon successfully completed! Bring on #11!

As for the race itself, Strip at Night was fun — twinkly lights, loads of costumed runners. (You can check out pics from my Vegas trip over on Instagram.)

For more deets on the race, you’ll have to read my article once it’s published in a few months — I’ll tell you what’s what once it’s out!

The spores that are not filtered are then disbursed outdoors so that 100% of the live and dead spores left
cannot grow inside the home or business. Apply it on the cleaned surfaces of the bathroom, let it stand for 15 minutes and then wash off with sufficient amount of water.
This is a very interesting question that everyone would like to know.
