Online shopping fans, now you can order more than tablets, computers and cameras from Best Buy. They’ve recently launched Best Buy VIVA, where you can find items for baby, personal care, beauty and health and wellness, such as yoga kits, and activity trackers, such as the Fitbit Flex.
I’m finally testing out the Fitbit Flex (which I’ve got on above — it’s the sleek black band one on the bottom of my arm party). It tracks your steps, calories burned, distance, and active minutes. I’m interested in the nighttime tracking of my sleep (remember I’m a bit of a night owl…).
Have you tried the Fitbit? What’s your favourite activity tracker?

Although I’ve been wearing gold for years now (not sure when I made the switch from favoring silver), lately some silver accessories have been stealing my affection.
This lovely fringey piece here, for one. Layered over a Tshirt that drapes just how you want it to or floaty summer dress? Perfection. And, oh, it’s made by my very talented friend Melissa Gobeil. Melissa Gobeil Design Quill Neckpiece, $175.
This leather wrap bracelet with dangling chains made me stop in my tracks the first time I saw it. It’s by Jenny Bird (don’t forget to pick up your limited-edition Wild for Bees bracelets and earrings while you can!), and I’m pretty sure I’ll be caving soon and buying this piece (so much for trying not to shop…). Jenny Bird Luna Warrior Wrap, $65.
And the third covetable piece is by Pyrrha, a Vancouver-based company. A friend once mentioned how good she feels wearing her Pyrrha pieces, and how she often finds herself touching the talisman when she has it on, and I can see why; they have a great weight and pleasing feel to them. I’m partial to this one here featuring a trinity of elk, representing great strength. Pyrrha Intuition Talisman Necklace, $140.

For a second year, Burt’s Bees has partnered with accessories designer Jenny Bird to create a limited-edition line of jewelry with the proceeds to go to the Pollinator Partnership, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and conserving bee health.
This charming bracelet here featuring a gold-dipped brass bee (available in blue like the one abover or with a black bracelet) and a pair of bee stud earrings are the covetable items from the Canadian designer. At $24.99 each, snap them up when they go on sale tomorrow, June 1st — save bees and sweeten up your jewelry stash at the same time.
Available online at Jenny Bird and www.burtsbees.ca and select retailers.
