Singleton status diminishes exercise efforts

With Valentine’s Day next week and happy couples everywhere planning their V-Day festivities, single ladies might find it hard to take this finding: isolation may lessen the the cellular brain boost exercise triggers (there’s full rundown on the Princeton experiments here).
But take comfort that at least your fit bod may make your partnered-off friends green with envy–a different study reveals that singletons tend to stay in better shape compared to those in relationships (perhaps there is some truth to peeps letting themselves go once married? It’s what the researchers speculated, anyhow).
