Pass the mustard, please

For lean muscles, to build muscle mass and improve physical performance, eat some mustard.

A new study published in FASEB Journal found that a plant steroid called homobrassinolide causes similar results in rats as anabolic steroids with few side effects. Mustard plants contain this plant compound.

(Oh, wait — I’d need to actually add “lifting weights” to the mix, too — drat. I still mostly just stick to the running thing.)
