How your personality affects your body weight

Are you a slim and have always tended to be so? Credit your conscientious personality.

Impulsive risktakers, especially those with a competive, aggressive and antagonistic streak are more likely to have weight fluctuations, according to new research from the National Institute of Aging. It’s their impulsive nature that perhaps leads them to indulging in food and drink (perhaps giving into temptation such as these cupcakes when having a bad day), which may lead to weight gain. Whereas conscientious folks are more likely to stick to a healthy diet and regular fitness routine.
