Giveaway: Win a year’s worth of Vaseline Total Moisture

July 6, 2012

Someone told me today I was “dressed appropriately for the weather”…um was that a polite way of saying “You’re hardly wearing anything!”? Ah, well, so be it! It’s hoooooooooot.

If you, like me, are baring all sorts of skin in this heat wave, well, you’re gonna want to make sure your skin’s well hydrated and presentable, right? Well, I’ve got a one year supply (retail value $100) of the new Vaseline Total Moisture to give away to one lucky winner.

That’s a total of 12 bottles of lotion — four of each of the three varieties: Cocoa Radiant, Aloe Fresh and Dry Skin.

(My personal fave is the Aloe Fresh variety — the scent is soft and subtle and, well, fresh, and we could all use a little freshness in this weather, no?)

The contest closes at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012, and is open to Canadian residents.

You can enter in three ways (please do enter all three ways so you have more chances of winning!):

(1) Enter by emailing your name, mailing address and phone number to healthandswellness@gmail.com (please put Vaseline Total Moisture in the subject line).

(2) Leave a comment on this post about how you’re managing to keep cool in this heat wave.

(3) Tweet about this giveaway including a link to this blog post (and you must include my twitter handle, @healthswellness, to ensure I see your tweet!).

Again, this giveaway closes at 9 a.m.  on Friday, July 13, 2012, and is open to Canadian residents only. The one winner be randomly chosen, notified by email, and announced on Health & Swellness.

I liked using face sprays and misting it on uber hot days like today.

I do a combination of things including taking cool showers, running through water parks, swimming in the pool or staying indoors with the air conditioning on.

I’m keeping cool by drinking lots of icy water, wearing my hair up in a (hideous) topknot and staying indoors when the sun is strongest.

How do I stay cool? By hiding out in my basement during the day, only to be seen when the sun comes down and glitter of the city lights have begun to flicker. Rinse and repeat. @healthswellness

How do I stay cool? First and foremost, I have been keeping hydrated by drinking lots of water. Also, I have been storing lotions and cosmetic toners in the refrigerator to use on hot days to cool my skin.
