Clarins supports active young ladies

Clarins has just partnered up with Fast and Female, a non-profit organization whose goal is to keep young women in sports (considering girls are six times more likely to drop out of sports than boys). They do this by hosting programs led by Olympic athletes and other role models.

Seem like a strange pairing, Clarins and sporty young women? Not so when you consider that Fast and Female’s promotes young women feeling beautiful inside and out.

And what’s more is that in March 2011, Clarins is launching a new line, Daily Energizer, geared to women 16 to 25 years old. The range is affordable (the Cleansing Gel and Wake-Up Booster each cost a very part-time-job-paycheck-friendly $15), which I’m sure will attract many a beauty junkie beyond her 25 years…after all, we can all use the extra change in our pocket while also benefiting from refining and tightening properties of the redcurrant in the Wake-Up Booster.

And (getting back to the good cause at hand) from its’ March launch until September 2011, $1 from every Daily Energizer product sold will be donated to Fast and Female.

The Clarins Daily Energizer range will be available in March 2011 in The Bay, Sears and Shoppers Drug Mart (and if you can’t wait til March, snap it up in February when it’ll be carried exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart).
