Choose carrots

Carrots, along with other veggies in season such as sweet potatoes, pumpkin and winter squashes, are packed with carotenoids such as alpha-carotene, shown to reduce the risks of suffering from heart disease and protect against cancer according to new research from the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.
