Love, love, love these rings.
And I kinda wished I’d tried harder to excel in high school biology if I knew that it could lead to such gorgeous pieces. Check out the Design Milk article on how Cell Cycle’s interest in cellular patterns, cell splitting and 3D forms resulted in software that brought about these stunners.

It would be cool if they could use more stuff like this to get kids interested in the Sciences. Supposedly that area is in dire need of interest or we might be left without scientists in the future.
