Happy International Women’s Day! How are you celebrating?

I’m celebrating by making a donation to Because I Am a Girl. Having traveled with the organization to Rwanda a year and a half ago and seeing their work firsthand (like when I got to meet some inspiring girls in high school there participating in workshops spearheaded by BIAAG), I greatly respect BIAAG and can think of no better way to commemorate International Women’s Day.

Smartest women drink the most

OK, to be more accurate (but didn’t that headline grab you?), the long-term study conducted by the London School of Economics found that the more education a woman has, the more she drinks (those with degrees are almost twice as likely to drink daily, for example).
