Nail-job craving: With no crazy amazing gel manicure from Tips Nail Bar on my nails, I’ve been changing up my regular nail polish every few days and my latest is from the OPI Euro Centrale collection, which hits stores in the spring. My wish list this time around: in-your-face glitter!
How I satisfied that craving: With a layer of navy blue I Saw…U Saw…We Saw…Warsaw, followed by two coats of magenta and blue glitter-flecked Polka.com; both are from the Euro Centrale collection.
How this nail colour make me feel: Festive and sparkly on the outside, which is good because I’m feeling very non-sparkly on the inside (I have a cough that’s been plaguing me for weeks and weeks and weeks. Cough, cough).
Love it or hate it: Love. It’s as though my nails have made my aura sparkly.

Nail-job craving: Everything’s sparkly during the holidays (the clothes, the shoes, the jewelry, the Christmas lights!), so after getting my Las Vegas Rock n Roll marathon mani removed last week, I was in the mood for something glittery, but not too rainbow bright.
How I satisfied that craving: With Stay the Night from the OPI Mariah Carey collection (in stores January 2013). It’s one of OPI’s new Liquid Sand textures, a matte texture with glints of glitter (Stay the Night is a matte black with red glints; the red is more apparent in real life than in these photos).
How this nail colour make me feel: Festive, but not too festive, which is exactly what I wanted.
Love it or hate it: Love. The matte texture is very cool (and much more subtle than a caviar mani), and my nails look a bit like a dark, sexy version of Dorothy’s ruby red slippers.

Nail-job craving: I attend a Nicole by OPI media event today and one of the collections they’ll be launching in January 2013 is a partnership with Selena Gomez! I’ve been in a bit of a hiding-out mode lately, so I felt like something subdued and pretty.
How I satisfied that craving: With Selena, a very feminine pink shade, which Suzi Weiss-Fischmann (artistic director for Nicole by OPI) told me is Gomez’s favourite.
How this nail colour make me feel: Girly and sweet.
Love it or hate it: Love.
And I love the rest of the collection, too! Check out all 14 shades from the Selena Gomez Nicole by OPI collection:
