The Nail Report — Nicole by OPI partners with Selena Gomez

Nail-job craving: I attend a Nicole by OPI media event today and one of the collections they’ll be launching in January 2013 is a partnership with Selena Gomez! I’ve been in a bit of a hiding-out mode lately, so I felt like something subdued and pretty.

How I satisfied that craving: With Selena, a very feminine pink shade, which Suzi Weiss-Fischmann (artistic director for Nicole by OPI) told me is Gomez’s favourite.

How this nail colour make me feel: Girly and sweet.

Love it or hate it: Love.

And I love the rest of the collection, too! Check out all 14 shades from the Selena Gomez Nicole by OPI collection:

The Weekly Nail Report

Nail-job craving: Glitzy and celebratory.

How I satisfied that craving: Two coats of Nicole by OPI in My Sleigh’s in the Shop.

How this nail colour make me feel: Today’s apparently Blue Monday, aka the most depressing day of the year. But I wouldn’t know it, as my nails fill me with joy. In fact, my sister caught me examining every nail (“Pretty! Pretty! Pretty!” she guessed was going through my head — which it was) before I gazed at both hands with much satisfaction.

Love it or hate it: Love. It’s magenta (a fave colour!) and glittery (which I love right now!). “It’s very cupcake!” said one friend. Indeed.

The Weekly Nail Report — the blog’s birthday edition

Nail-job craving: Something festive — Health & Swellness turned two years old this week!

How I satisfied that craving: Two coats of Nicole by OPI in  Disco Dolls followed by two coats of Rainbow in the S-Kylie (also from Nicole by OPI).

How this nail colour make me feel: Wowzers. I feel pretty bling-ed out — the pic above doesn’t do justice to the level of shine and glittery-ness coming off of my fingertips. My nails are practically bejewelled.

Love it or hate it: Like. I realize that there is such a thing as too much glitter 🙂
