Migraines + light = Pain

Some enlightening (sorry, I couldn’t resist) new research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has discovered how light makes migraines worsen. Which means that there is hope for those who suffer from these debilitating headaches — after all, the discovery may pave the way for new treatments. 

And while I don’t mean to make light of a very painful condition, I never realized that migraine sufferers who suffer from phototopia could help ease their migraines by taking some advice from Corey Hart and wearing sunglasses at night. Who knew?
