Maybelline Baby Lips Electro = the lip balm cure for SAD — what with the cheery neon shades, the big, bold lettering, the teeny price tag ($4.99).
And let’s not forget the shea butter and vitamin E formula (it’s rare that I find a lip balm in a tube emollient enough for my parched lips, but this one works for me).
And with the dull, grey skies and frigid polar vortex craziness — we need all the help we can get to battle the winter blues and c-c-cold, dry air, n’est-ce pas?

Nail-job craving: I removed my V-gap mani at home (by soaking in acetone and scraping it off) and needed something edgy for my quick stop into Montreal Fashion Week tomorrow.
How I satisfied that craving: With Maybelline Color Show Fashion Prints Nail Stickers in Metal Prisms.
How this nail colour make me feel: Flashy. And like any rings or jewelery paired with these nails might be OTT.
Love it or hate it: Love the metal stud look of this print. Application took about half an hour and I found it hard to get the sticker to lie smoothly (especially at the nail tip). Given the slightly ragged edge I ended up with, I’m interested to see how long the nail stickers hold onto my nails.

Nail-job craving: This week’s nail colour is inspired by something I’ve been craving (and indulging in) lately: mint chocolate chip ice cream.
How I satisfied that craving: I tried out Maybelline Color Show (which I’ve had on hand for awhile but my soak-off gel habit and all meant no time for regular polish) in Green with Envy.
How this nail colour make me feel: Like I should got get some mint chip ice cream. It’s the exact shade (minus the chips, of course).
Love it or hate it: Love the nail colour. And the ice cream. Yum.
(Eight of the polishes from Maybelline Color Show’s collection of 30 shades plus three design effects. From left to right: Pedal to the Metal, Purple Icon, Green with Envy, Born with It, Paint the Town, Denim Dash, Amethyst Ablaze, Carbon Frost.)
