Marriage is good for your health

Married people live longer, and married women have better mental health (and married men better physical health) says an editorial published in the British Medical Journal.

That said, singletons have better mental health than people in strained relationships.

And as for couples with kids? The dad should focus on playtime with the little ones while mom takes care of actual feeding and bathing–according to a completely unrelated study conducted at Ohio State University. You read right–and this study’s not from the 1950s–it seems that adopting more traditional roles leads to having a stronger, more supportive relationship.
