Good mood = bad memory

Well this new research is somewhat comforting–when you’re in a good mood (say, enjoying an incredible meal with some friends, for example, at Enoteca Sociale–one of my faves btw) your working memory isn’t as strong (so, say your bestie gave you a rundown during dinner of all the shops you need to check out in Chicago, and you can’t remember a single one of them, this may be why).

Seems like a bit of a trade off, but you benefit from a good mood and all.

(as for the pic, sometimes something as simple as a colourful cupcake can put you in a good mood, right? Maybe that’s just me.)
