Nail-job craving: I’ve still got Gelish Carnival Hangover on my nails so just wanted a fun way to play around with the look that wasn’t labour-intensive.
How I satisfied that craving: Using BeautyGeek‘s advice on how to create my own nail dotter thing-y, I used the back of a wooden skewer (was too lazy to dig out my sewing kit for a pin) to dot Nicki Minaj for OPI in Did It On ‘Em (which I had on my nails a few weeks ago) onto my nails. (from my previous post featuring me holding hands with BeautyGeeks’ Janine Falcon, I’ve obviously been obsessed about the combination of the magenta of Carnival Hangover with this acid yellow OPI shade for weeks now).
How this nail colour make me feel: Party ready. The dots are like bits of confetti adorning my nails.
Love it or hate it: Like. I’m thinking a smaller, more precise dot is what I’m in the mood for (so I indeed should’ve dug out my sewing kit to use a pin to make my dots).

Nail-job craving: Something cheery that would positively pop in a photograph (I had a photo shoot on Monday, fun!); something that people might call “very Karen,” which generally seems to mean super bright when it comes to nail colour.
How I satisfied that craving: At Tips Nail Bar with Gelish Carnival Hangover, a purply magenta that I’d lusted after since seeing it on BeautyGeek Janine.
How this nail colour make me feel: Like I should be having boatloads of fun every second I’ve got this manicure.
Love it or hate it: Love. Yep, it’s true love. I mean, seriously now, look at how freakin’ good my nails look, especially with my green skinny jeans from the Gap.

Nail-job craving: I initially wanted something bright and spicy — I’m on vacation in Spain right now (which is why I’ve been MIA on Health & Swellness for a few days), but I have been getting hot pinks and oranges all summer long, so I went in a very different direction.
How I satisfied that craving: At Tips Nail Bar with Seafoam from Gelish, a pale minty green.
How this nail colour make me feel: Demure. Calm.
Love it or hate it: Love. Despite being a pale shade, it stands out and looks great with my tan (I’ve been diligent with sunscreen this summer but am dark, for me, this summer — – all the walking and running means I’m outdoors more than usual).
