The Weekly Nail Report — Part Deux

May 27, 2011

My hot pink and yellow half-marathon nails from two weeks ago? Those pointy pinkie nails sure did direct me to the finish line — I completed the race with a personal best time of 1:54:43, yo! I don’t think I can beat that time this Sunday (I simply can’t imagine going any faster or harder than I did on the 15th) but I still feel a lot is riding on this manicure for the Toronto Women’s Only Half-Marathon…

Nail-job craving: Some killer, eye-catching nails. I told Leeanne at Tips Nail Bar that she could do whatever she wanted with my nails for my Toronto Women’s Only Half-Marathon manicure — she’s so amazing and knows what styles and colours I tend to gravitate towards so I totally trust her.

How Leeanne satisified that craving: Check out the colour-block masterpiece on my nails. She used Axxium in Alpine Snow and then China Glaze neon colours (much more fluorescent in real life than in this pic, I swear!) in Celtic Sun, Orange Knockout and In the Lime Light. Finished with a top coat of INM Out the Door (how appropriate!).

How this nail job makes me feel: O.M.G. I’m so in awe of my nails that I’m afraid they may distract me from running fast as I can. In fact, I’m a bit at a loss for words to even describe how awesome this mani is. Juicy, citrus-y, sunshine-y shades = pure joy! These nails will give me energy on race day.

Love it or hate it: I think you know the answer.

When using such a solution, you will be asked

new baby, move to a new house, started college, changed employment status,
etc. Many people are making a lot of money promoting

Every year, thousands of vacancies open up in the
