The Weekly Nail Report

Nail-job craving: Something sleek and aerodynamic. After all, this manicure will be motivating me as I run the Nike Women’s Half-marathon in San Francisco on Sunday!
How I satisfied that craving: I’d spotted a version of this V-gap mani online and have been obsessed with it for awhile. So I got myself over to Tips Nail Bar and Leanne Colley used Entity in Spotlight all over the nail bed as a base and then meticulously applied La Reine nail polish in Deep Black overtop. This pic right here are Leanne’s talented hands at work.
How this manicure make me feel: I could feel my heart beating faster as the look was coming together. The slick, swoop-y lines are, I think, just right for a lean, mean running machine 
Plus, I’m in Las Vegas this week and the black and white combo makes me think of playing cards.
Love it or hate it: LOVE. The only downside? I think I need to change my running outfit to match this mani! I think a super sleek racerback tank (as one renowned Canadian fashion designer who was getting a pedi at Tips that morning suggested) is now a must.

Thanks! And great, that’s all I’ll see now, too! (which I’m sure will lead to martini cravings)
I’ve had it for 1.5 weeks now and it’s still holding up well.
