One girl’s Master Cleanse

I think the Master Cleanse is a very bad thing to put your body through, but I get its appeal: it’s straightforward and people who’ve done it swear by it. Anyhow, I just came across this blog, The Dirty 30 Project, and Sara’s experience trying the Cleanse gave me a giggle so I thought I’d share.

P.S. I’ve never tried the Master Cleanse myself but having done World Vision’s 30-hour Famine back in high school, I think I’d outlast Dirty 30’s Sara short stint with the fad diet.

P.P.S. I wish I could say it was raising money to help feed hungry people in the world that was the main motivator for doing the 30-hour Famine back in Grade 10, but it may have had more to do with Jason Priestley starring in the tv promos for the fundraiser (he did, didn’t he — or am I remembering wrong?)
