Your doctor may soon be prescribing more quality time with friends and loved ones. How’s that?
Besides helping to battle cancer according to this study, an active social life is key to a long lifespan. In fact, low social interaction is as harmful as smoking and alcohol abuse, more harmful than not exercising and twice as harmful as obesity — according to researchers from Brigham Young University who took a look at pooled data from previously published studies.
