Houston-based dermatologist Greg Pearson has developed an iPhone (or iTouch) app for clear skin. AcneApp emits red and blue light techonology (for, respectively, their anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties) as you gab on your mobile. The idea is that the alternating light will help your skin heal, and even help minimize wrinkles by stimulating collagen growth. All for $1.99. As you might expect, derms and regular folk are skeptical of the app’s effectiveness and safety.
